We honestly loved every single second of our Scottish road trip, and Highland Roamers played a huge part in making it so special. ❤️
As first-time campervan travellers, we had quite a few questions and worries before our adventure, but Ross was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the whole process. His communication was fantastic, and you can genuinely tell that he cares about his customers and wants them to have the best possible experience.

The van was a wonderful way to explore Scotland, from the breathtaking Highlands to the magical islands, and gave us the freedom to experience the country in a way we’ll never forget.

And last but definitely not least, Ross himself deserves a special mention. He’s honestly one of the funniest and kindest people we’ve ever met! His warmth, sense of humour, and genuinely human approach made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into what they do.

If you’re thinking about exploring Scotland by campervan, we couldn’t recommend Highland Roamers enough. We came as customers and left with beautiful memories, grateful hearts, and a huge appreciation for the people behind the company.

Fast and helpful communication from Ross. The van was very clean with everything we needed for our NC500 trip. We took the bedding pack which was great and made the bed super comfy! I really recommend Highland Roamers, great customer service and the van is fantastic, it gave us the freedom we needed to be off grid and make our NC500 trip such a great experience. We spent 3.5 days in Glen Roamer and it was fantastic! The van was easy to drive and park and the fuel consumption brilliant. Ross was great at explaining how to use all the features, and the van was perfect size for us two for our short holiday. He even gifted us a wee cake for my birthday!! We had the option to sleep in the soft top or on the back seats, and we cooked lots of meals thanks to all the supplies. We even managed a nice outdoor lunch thanks to the picnic table and chairs! The hiring process was easy, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Even when we were away he was only a phone call away if we needed anything.
The Ben Roamer is easy to drive, has all equipment we needed.

We hired the Glen Roamer for the weekend as complete campervan novices, taking our first road trip to see what it was all about. We couldn’t fault the van—it was fantastic. The pick-up was straightforward, and Ross provided excellent service, making everything easy from the start.

Hitting the road in search of adventure, we made it as far as Aberfeldy, which was a lovely. Unsurprisingly, we made a few rookie mistakes, but it was all part of the learning experience.

By the end of the weekend, we’d learned some valuable lessons: definitely hire the bedding, make sure the electric hook-up is fully connected, and don’t leave refuelling until the last minute. Overall, it was a brilliant first experience, and we’d happily do it all again.

A fantastic 10 days in Glen Roamer exploring Scotland. We went to Aviemore first then the Fife coast. A very well equipped and beautiful van which is lovely to drive and easy to set up the beds for day and night. Lots of little storage spaces and cubby holes. The online booking process was simple and easy. Ross is fantastic and delivered excellent customer service, answering queries quickly, helping us add on extras after we’d booked like a paddle board and wetsuits. I got in touch with Highland Roamers last november because i needed a camper for my big race.
From the initial contact to picking up the camper van it was professional.
I was allowed to view the the camper before i made the decision and i wasnt dissapointed.
It worked a treat for me and my crew for the race.
Very clean and tidy inside too!
It made for an enjoyable weekend for my crew who were in the van most.
It was very good on the fuel consumption.
All in all 10 out of 10 to Highland roamers for the full experience and i will definitely hire one of his campers again 💯 percent.
